Code Enforcement Services halts non-essential inspections

With Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-21, all non-essential construction has stopped. Code Enforcement Services has closed all its offices. Staff are working from home but are available for emergencies and life and safety issues. That would include broken water or sewer lines or damage to properties that need permits and inspections to restore occupancy. CES staff are also completing existing plan reviews and can answer questions over email or the phone.
