Water School: Essential resources for local officials
Elected and appointed officials will learn what they can do to protect Michigan’s blue economy by attending Water School, a two-day workshop May 13-14 in Ann Arbor conducted by Michigan State University Extension and hosted by the Huron River Watershed Council. InformationWater School will offer in-class presentations, interactive learning demonstrations and a field tour. The program will cover water quantity and quality; economics, finance and planning, and water policy issues.The registration fee of $175 includes materials and a continental breakfast both days.The program will be offered again September 26-27 in Northville, hosted by the Rouge River Watershed Council.
