CWA’s Megan Masson-Minock to co-present webinar on Food Systems Planning
On February 11, 2022 at noon, Megan Masson-Minock will be co-presenting a webinar about food systems planning and resulting policy change. The webinar is sponsored by the APA Food Division, completely FREE and offers 1.5 American Planning Association CM Credits.
This webinar will “tell the story of the Michigan Local Food Council Network, an organization that brings together food councils to build their individual and collective capacities to work on food and food policy issues, operate effectively, and engage their communities, through peer-to-peer learning.” Megan and her co-presenter, Rachael Pressley of the Western U.P. Planning & Development Region, will share “lessons of building relationships and resilience through this statewide network and strategies for integrating food systems planning into local municipal government efforts.”
